Mary-Jo Hill trained as a teacher in 1993 following a degree in Classics and English. She worked in London for over 17 years as a teacher and then a schools advisor for over 100 schools (all phases and sectors). She was awarded the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) in 2010 and is now an educational consultant in Norfolk and a school governor.
Mary originally volunteered, visiting FARA in Bucharest in her late teens with her good friend Lucinda. She is married with three small boys and lives in North Norfolk.
